Why Upgrade?

Elevate Your Bathroom Instantly

A custom shower door is one of the highest-ROI bathroom upgrades you can make. Frameless glass enclosures, in particular, make any bathroom feel larger, more luxurious, and easier to clean than traditional shower curtains or bulky framed doors.

At All About Glass, we measure your shower opening precisely, custom-cut the glass to fit, and install it with proper hardware for a watertight, beautiful result. No generic "close enough" sizing — every panel is made for your exact space.

All shower glass is tempered safety glass per code, and we offer a variety of coatings, textures, and hardware finishes to match your bathroom's aesthetic.

🔲

Clear Tempered Glass

The classic choice — sparkling clear safety glass that makes any bathroom feel open and spacious. Standard on all enclosures.

🌫️

Frosted / Obscure Glass

Privacy without sacrificing light. Available in varying degrees of opacity — from a light texture to near-opaque satin.

💧

Easy-Clean Coating

A hydrophobic coating causes water to bead and roll off the glass, dramatically reducing soap scum buildup and cleaning time.

Low-Iron "Ultra-Clear" Glass

Standard glass has a slight green tint. Low-iron glass is crystal clear with no color cast — the premium choice for a true spa look.

🎨

Decorative & Patterned

Rain glass, reeded glass, flora patterns, and more. Add texture and visual interest while maintaining privacy.

🔩

Hardware Finishes

Chrome, brushed nickel, matte black, oil-rubbed bronze, polished gold, and more. Match your existing fixtures perfectly.

Safety First

All Shower Glass is Tempered Safety Glass

Building codes require tempered glass in shower enclosures — and for good reason. Here's what that means for you.

💪

4–5× Stronger

Tempered glass is heat-treated to be dramatically stronger than standard glass — resistant to impact and thermal stress.

🫧

Safe Breakage

If it does break, tempered glass shatters into small, blunt-edged pebbles — not sharp shards — dramatically reducing injury risk.

📋

Code-Compliant

All our shower installations meet or exceed Colorado building code. Every panel is permanently etched with the CPSC certification mark.

FAQs

Shower Door Questions Answered

  • How thick should frameless shower glass be?

Frameless shower doors are typically ⅜" or ½" thick tempered glass. Thicker glass (½") is more rigid and premium-feeling — ideal for larger panels and hinged doors. ⅜" is structurally sufficient for most applications and slightly more budget-friendly.

  • How do I keep frameless glass clean?

The main enemy of shower glass is soap scum and hard water mineral deposits. Squeegee the glass after every use — this alone prevents 90% of buildup. We also offer easy-clean hydrophobic coatings that cause water to bead and run off. For cleaning, a simple white vinegar solution removes mineral deposits without scratching.

  • Can you install a frameless door on an existing tile shower?

Yes, in most cases. We drill anchors directly into tile or the wall substrate for hinges and wall channels. We use silicone sealant to ensure watertightness. As long as the tile is in good condition and the wall is structurally sound, we can work with virtually any existing shower.

  • My shower opening isn't perfectly square — is that a problem?

Not at all — that's actually very common, especially in older homes. Since we custom-cut every panel to your exact measurements (including any out-of-square angles), your finished enclosure will fit perfectly regardless of the opening's geometry.

  • How long does shower door installation take?

The installation itself typically takes 2–4 hours once your custom glass is ready. Glass fabrication takes 3–7 business days after your estimate. Total time from estimate to completed installation is usually 1–2 weeks.
